Has anybody actually ever been payed for doing a survey online like they were promised?

I have heard of some websites teenagers can go on and they do surveys & get paid for them. What I was?
wondering was, are these websites legit? Will your information be kept safe and will you actually get paid for doing these surveys? If so, do you know of any LEGIT websites where a teenager can get paid to do surveys? Thanks
